Privacy Policy

MMU Hub is a hosted web service at mmu.ai-speeds.com that lets creators connect a TikTok account they own or are authorized to manage, upload a video from any browser, and publish it to that account. Section 5a below describes exactly what MMU Hub collects, how long it keeps it, and how to delete all of it in one click.

The MMU project also includes a desktop companion ("the App") that publishes a creator's own short-form videos to their own YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook accounts using each platform's official API, running entirely on their local computer. Sections 1–6 apply to that desktop companion.

1. Information the App accesses

• OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by YouTube (Google), TikTok, and Meta (Instagram/Facebook) after the account owner explicitly authorizes the App.
• Account metadata returned by the platform APIs (e.g. channel or account identifiers, display names, creator posting options).
• Content the owner chooses to publish: video files, titles, captions, and tags, all created and stored locally by the owner.
• Post-publish statistics of the owner's own published videos (view, like, comment, and share counts) retrieved via the platform APIs.

2. How information is used

Tokens are used solely to upload and publish the owner's videos and to read statistics of the owner's own posts. Statistics are used solely to display performance history to the owner. No information is used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the App for its owner.

3. Storage and security

All data — tokens, publish records, and statistics — is stored locally on the owner's computer. OAuth tokens are stored in the operating system's credential manager (Windows Credential Manager). No data is transmitted to any server other than the official platform APIs themselves.

4. Sharing

The App does not share, sell, or transmit any data to third parties. There are no third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

5. Data retention and deletion

Data remains on the owner's computer until the owner deletes it. Local data can be removed at any time by deleting the App's data directory, which permanently erases all stored tokens, publish records, and statistics.

Aggregated public statistics of the owner's own videos (view, like, and comment counts) are retained locally for no longer than 36 calendar months, after which they are deleted. All other retrieved data (video titles, descriptions, and other metadata) is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, in accordance with the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.

Platform authorization can be revoked at any time, which immediately invalidates the App's access:

• Google / YouTube: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
• TikTok: TikTok app settings → Security → Manage app permissions
• Meta (Instagram / Facebook): Meta Business settings → Business apps

5a. MMU Hub (hosted service for TikTok creators)

When you connect your TikTok account to MMU Hub, we collect and store:

• Basic profile returned by TikTok after you authorize (open id, display name, avatar) — used only to show who is signed in.
• OAuth tokens issued by TikTok — encrypted at rest on our server and used solely to publish the videos you submit to your own account and to read your creator posting options.
• Videos you upload — held transiently for publishing and deleted from our server immediately after the publish attempt, whether it succeeds or fails.
• A minimal post history (title, status, time) shown on your dashboard.

We never post without your explicit confirmation, never access videos you did not upload, and never share or sell any data. You can delete everything at any time via Account → Disconnect & delete my data, which immediately removes your profile, tokens, post history, and any temporary files. You can also revoke the app's access in TikTok: Settings → Security → Manage app permissions.

6. YouTube API Services

The App uses YouTube API Services. By using it, the owner agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The App accesses, stores, and uses YouTube data in accordance with the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.

Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy, available at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy (also published at https://policies.google.com/privacy).

Stored YouTube data is limited to the owner's own authorized channel. The owner may revoke the App's access to their YouTube data at any time via the Google security settings page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, and may delete all locally stored YouTube data as described in Section 5.

7. Changes

Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
